About Meeting

The first kick-off meeting of the Food Literacy Project took place in Ankara, Turkey, at 30-31 July 2024 hosted by ODTÜ-MEBİVA, with the active participation of several key partners, including Compass GmbH, EKAPDER, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Mardin Artuklu University, and Euroactiva. This collaborative gathering marked the beginning of a significant initiative aimed at promoting food literacy across Europe.

During the meeting, the project’s timeline, goals, and strategies were thoroughly discussed. Partners shared their insights and expertise, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the project’s implementation. A key highlight of the meeting was the announcement of the upcoming Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT-1) event, which is scheduled to take place in Ankara. This event will serve as a critical milestone in the project, fostering knowledge exchange and capacity building among the participants.

The discussions also focused on aligning the efforts of all partners to ensure that the project’s objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The strong collaboration between the diverse stakeholders promises to be a vital element in the success of the Food Literacy Project.
